More and more Cyber Physical Production Systems (CPPSs) are emerging worldwide, offering solutions consisting of replacing existing production systems from local to cloud. However, out of date production systems which are still in use need to be taken into consideration. Smart factories will be set up much faster if the already existing production systems can also be transformed into CPPSs. Skyot will offer a services tools to transform existing production systems into CPPS ones. The platform will benefit companies by increasing their flexibility, efficiency and productivity, with new communication interfaces inside and outside of their four walls.
